Construction at 1500 Mission/ 49 South Van Ness is beginning to take shape. The historic Coca-Cola Bottling Plant clock tower remains in place while the footings for the the city office building and the 39-story residential tower proceed around it. In between the two new buildings, a wide walkway is being poured which will create a plaza/ gathering space lined with retail space, meeting rooms, and an art gallery and will serve as pedestrian thoroughfare. UDCE is providing full multi-discipline civil engineering services for this project , including sewer, storm drain, water, reclaimed water, placement of all dry utilities, grading/accessibility, streetscape customization, and stormwater management. Excited to be working with Related California on this exciting project in the heart of San Francisco.
