RAINBOW RECREATION CENTER BEAMS

The new Rainbow Recreation Center is open for play! UDCE is proud to have helped make this project a beaming success, providing full civil engineering services for the much-needed replacement/ renovation project of this 40 year old facility. Our exterior work included an open entry courtyard, new outdoor exercise area, transformation of an existing tennis court into a synthetic soccer practice field; and the renovation of playground and picnic areas with improved lighting. Planted bioswales and channels treat stormwater and help restore the adjacent Alameda County Flood Control Channel/ Creek. The new building designed by Byrens Kim Design Works features a colorful and inviting facade. Glazes on high windows provide the interior lobby with welcome rainbows.
