So proud of Paulett Taggart Architects/ StudioVara team whose Sister Lillian Murphy Community was awarded the 2023 AIA National Housing Award. Named after Sister Lillian Murphy, leader of Mercy Housing for 27 years, this new 7-story, 152-unit Mercy Housing affordable housing project sits at the edge of the Mission Bay neighborhood. The complex is made up of four wings surrounded by a multi-use courtyard. The project is supported by on-site parking, indoor and outdoor community gathering spaces, and tenant spaces offering priority registration to residents including the Blue Bear School of Music and Kai Ming, an early child care facility.
